Spot on looks wise, a good angle to the seat, wide polished steel bases and upholstered in a wonderful aged brick leather which is soft, supple and supportive. Howard Keith had a knack of making some great looking chairs - this one is no exception!
Condition wise, it has the usual wear to the edges of arms and seats with the leather remaining supple and soft. There are the odd nibbles around the frame but nothing too much to concern yourself with, there are no rips or tears. The base is rust and crack free and holds the seat tightly. We have conditioned the leather with a good quality leather balm so it is looking and smelling right. Looking for vintage then this is perfect – looking for new – best leave alone.
We think it would look great in an apartment, maybe a period home or perfect for a commercial space…
Dimensions – Overall: Height 92cm x Width 85cm x Depth 91cm
Dimensions – Specifically the Seat: Height 39cm x Depth 52cm
