This one comes from the G Plan Brandon range and benefits from being in the same ownership since new. This line was designed by VB Wilkins who went on to design some of G Plans most iconic and enduring pieces.
A sound design and quality build from G Plan with a durable well-made chest using good oak. As mentioned this one is presented in good vintage condition – only day to day light use and marks, no repairs, smells good and all the drawers working as they should.
Of course made for the bedroom with its 3 compartments in the top drawers for socks and undies or maybe even ties these, are pretty versatile and can look great in a hallway with plenty of space for gloves, scarfs and car keys or in the lounge of an apartment. These are great value compared to its modern counterparts, the look is timeless and so easy to get on with and mix with other pieces…
We have lightly waxed this one and it’s ready to put into place and use.
