Presented in pretty much as found condition, this cast iron bust of Benjamin Disraeli is the prefect size for a desk and/or paperweight. You could consider stripping back the several layers of paint, however we like him just as he is – a little unkempt!
The bust is a heavy piece for its size with no cracks or splits and possesses several layers of paint peeping through including cream green and light red.
An interesting piece – we also have William Gladstone of the same size in similar condition if you wish to purchase a bust from two parties... We would say late Victorian and a great decorative addition to a desk, side or console table.
Just a thought – they would make great door stops!
