Charming Pair of Late Victorian Tub Arm Chairs Leather Seats

Such an appealing pair of chairs from the late Victorian period possessing that look and style that many lack. They are slender in posture with the leather seats perched on a pair of slight cabriole legs.
These are not your highly polished, elaborate or fancy chairs, we would say more humble, simple and modest, but we think all the better for it. The chairs have been used and as such have a small piece of one of the backs missing and a good repair to one of the front legs of one of the chairs – neither a big deal. Otherwise just pleasing wear marks to the end of the arms and the odd knock and mark to the frames. The olive green leather is fine with a little cracking to one.
We think these are rather beautiful, full of faded charm and with a just a hint of class!
