A 1930s Limed Oak Dwarf Wardrobe of Excellent Quality

A far cry from the sometimes ropey 1930s furniture, this limed oak dwarf wardrobe is presented in gentle used condition and is of Heals quality in style and construction. Reassuringly weighty for its size, solid oak no ply, and with the convenience of a telescopic chrome rail - a nice touch to one side to hang clothes (for a smokers jacket and the like perhaps) and a shelved side which includes two detachable draws for socks and undies or maybe handkerchiefs and collar stiffeners!
It’s very much 30s in style, sadly no makers label but it survives in good original order with the handle still retaining some of its green finish. The liming is a little faded with the oak a lighter shade than some others, which is not a bad thing.
As mentioned, a quality piece which would not only look great in a bedroom but would also sit perfectly fine in a hallway or playroom full of toys…
