Inspired by antique elm stools these are a 60s adaptation by Lusty – of course well known for their loom chairs and the such… They consist of a slab of elm sitting on a simple black metal four legged frame, the undersides show the Lusty label.
“In 1922 Jim Lusty, a London timber merchant, recognised the enormous potential of Lloyd Loom, bought the manufacturing rights and opened a factory in the East End of London, where he set about manufacturing simple, functional and affordable Lusty’s Lloyd Loom furniture…”
These are great looking, very much of the period and certainly something a little different, weighty with a good measure of style. They are in original condition – the tops are secure and the frame as the odd scratch of two.
Great for plonking a glass and bottle of wine on, perfect home for the remote or maybe either side of a bed.
Very nice stools from a renowned maker.
Price is for one delivered.
Dimensions – Overall: Height 45cm x Width 32.5cm x Depth 35.5cm
