A rather nice and sensibly sized vintage oak pedestal desk which survives in good vintage order from around the 30s/40s. A little different than most with its angled legs, diamond patterned oak drawer fronts and those round spun brass knobs.
This one, with its flight of 3 graduated drawers and helpful pull out top still in place, is sitting in good condition. Yes it possesses the usual odd mark or two, general wear and tear which surely only adds to its appeal and pull. In addition the black leatherette top also benefits from possessing no tears or cuts. The top drawer is missing its lock, but hardly the end of the world, and does not affect its use.
