A pleasing find – so many times we look at similar cabinets however they are missing a piece of turned wood, have pieces broken or the cupboard does not shut correctly – this one is as sound as a pound – looking fresh!
We particularly admire the sunflower type heads carved into each door, the decorative hinges and the overall quality of the cabinet. It has been well made with care and attention, all very pleasing to the eye. The cabinet also benefits from having a working lock and key and apart from usage marks to its top shelf, is in very nice historic order. We would say from around 1910-1915-ish.
A well cared for piece, a notch above the norm waiting for a wall.
Dimensions – Overall: Height 66cm x Width 61cm x Depth 21cm
Established in 2011, we take pleasure in working for private and commercial clients in the sourcing of single pieces though to full interior design www.malersykes.com
