This Victorian chair purchased whilst working in Norfolk possesses a very fine profile and with her fully reupholstered by Andy Clarke a member of the Mater Upholsterers she is looking even healthier. Before this the chair was a bright, very bright yellow!
Okay, you may find less expensive chairs, however its overall condition is first class with the new woven fabric blending in rather well with the barrelled legs and brushed brass castors. We particularly like the loftiness and shape of the arms coupled with the simplicity of the reupholstering, so easy to overdo the job with studs and braiding.
The frame is strong with no repairs but of course some marks which only enhance the look that come with age and use. The fabric is new and fresh making it very much the type of chair that will fit into most rooms and very much ready to enjoy.
