We spotted these sitting at a factory closure and thought they were rather cool and worthy of a purchase. After a bit of a wash and brush up these red metal factory steps are ready for use.
They were used by the guys working on the lathes to gain a bit of extra height hence show pleasing signs of engineering wear and tear. We assume they are a classic industrial design and are from around the 70s but do not quote us on that. The steps have been given a light coating of crystalline polish giving them a pleasant sheen.
Their uses are plentiful - great for putting small plants on in the garden or on the terrace, handy for the kitchen or useful in the bathroom…
We have a small number of them and we are eagerly seeking out more!
