We have several Pieff pieces which should be hitting our site in the next few days and this Alpha chair designed by Tim Bates is a classic with a big slice of style and retro look.
This one is in black leather which we feel is the perfect match for the chrome frame. Condition wise, it’s been loved and sat on rather than a having been a display piece and as such the leather is aged, which is to be expected however, it’s still looking good for its years apart from a small, good repair to one of the arms at the rear middle and a little bit of crazing to the leather mainly on the arms. The seat and backs are hole and tear free, the chrome is in good order without cracks or pitting. We have conditioned the leather so it’s clean and odour free.
Without a doubt a great looking chair, very comfortable, in pretty good nick and still undervalued compared to other designs from the same era.
