These are a first rate pair of early Edwardian armchairs and Sofa with a benefit of being fairly recently professionally reupholstered in sage green velvet which should fit in easily to most colour schemes.
They are an accommodating size, portly in looks, heavy for their size with well craved arms and cabriole style legs finished with small brushed brass castors –a little continental in appearance with a hint of grandeur! On the subject of comfortability we would say an 8 out of ten - the seats are plump, the seat height sensible and seat depth also good.
Condition wise it would be fair to say that they have hardly been sat on since the reupholstery so no marks or stains. The carved frames are showing a few historic marks, to be expected - however again firm with no wobbles or sways.
These are ready to place and enjoy. We also have a 2 seater sofa of the same design and fabric if you wish to complete the suite.
