Pair of 1930s English Thick Set Solid Oak and Leather Boardroom Chairs

With a definite 1930s almost Deco look these solid oak chairs, which we think are too large for a domestic dining room and would, most probably, have sat in a boardroom or large hall enjoying commercial life in their heyday.
We know from labels that they were made in a wonderful looking Art Deco factory – pictured in one of the images – and were part of a set, we have a larger one in a similar style if you wish to purchase.
They sit very firm – the oak frames have an uncomplicated look with simple lines which are pleasing on the eye displaying some marks and bruises but nothing too much to worry about (repair free). The ultra-supple green leather is a later replacement and again is in fair used condition with marks matching the look well.
We would be happy to recover them – Martina feels that leather suits them well, possibly in another colour, however they are perfectly useable and ready to enjoy with good sized seats and strong arms. They could look majestic sitting in a hallway or with a desk from a similar era.

Dimensions – Specifically the seat: Height 49cm x Arm height 66.5cm and with pad 69cm
