Very much in original condition, this Victorian wardrobe is of an accommodating size and splits into two for easy moving and placing. With its slender painted shadow lines, pretty flowers decorating the front door, useful bottom drawer and plenty of original hooks inside, we think this wardrobe has plenty going for it.
With the wardrobe having been part of a small cottage clearance, it does have the odd knock or two, there is paint loss to the sides and bottoms however overall the piece is firm in stature and dry. The pressed door handle is a little damaged, however it still works fine and the door possess a very slight bow, again not affecting its use or look. Overall a piece that’s showing its past and history well.
A delightful little original single wardrobe which would not look out of place in a hallway, kitchen or bedroom of course.
