Damn Stylish 1940s/1950s Three Piece Living Room Suite

Okay, we realise that there are a lot of these 1940s / 1950s suites around. However we reckon we have found a suite that nudges itself above the norm - it’s not only comfortable but damn stylish, a far cry from the dingy looking suite which, to be honest are a little boring, a little like sitting at your granny’s on a rainy Sunday afternoon!
To enhance the look further we have had the fabric on the seat cushions fully reupholstered in a super looking soft textured Chenille fabric in lime green and are really pleased with the result.
The suite comprises of a two seater and a couple of matching chairs - they certainly radiate style with car seat style backs and stylish curved wooden arms. As mentioned the seats cushions are sprung and freshly covered by Andy Clarke a Master Upholsterer so they are 100%, the frames are strong with no movement but of course with some age marks – a couple of scratches to the wood in particular, however it does not affect the overall look. The Rexine covering to the frames and backs have no rips (just a tiny hole on the front of the sofa) and is of a wonderful vintage chestnut brown colour slightly worn in places however not broken, torn or split. The castors on the 2 seater are period replacements
The pictures look great, it’s sensibly sized and we reckon its cracker and ready to go!
