A Large Vintage WW11 Army Field Operating Lamp – Ready to Go

Never easy to source complete, this one is in marvellous historic condition and we would assume used in the field most probably for medical use. The large lamp which pivots and angles by use of a hefty handle is adjustable in height depending on how many of the heavy connecting metal tubes you wish to screw together.
The lamp is pretty much as we found it, in original Army paint etc – it will happily disassemble back into its designed box and can be carried by use of two handles to the side if you wish. We have rewired the lamp with a dimmable switch so it’s perfect for home or commercial use.
We think it could look great in an apartment or commercial space, perfect to place in an entrance for hanging jackets, plus the box when closed forms a useful table top (please note that one of the hinges on the box is broken but does not affect its use in any way). And with the rewire, replug and dimmer switch, it’s ready to enjoy.
