An absolute cracker, we just had to have this one!
Let’s face it, it’s got an awful lot going for it- wonderful 50s shape, no rips or tears to the original grey and black covering which is spot on for the era, those four black legs with their metal tips, no buttons missing, freshly steamed cleaned and it turns into a bed when you wish…
Condition wise, this one is pretty good, ok we have light fading to the upholstery in areas however the fact that the covering is still intact with no repairs, tears or buttons missing is a real bonus. It is very firm all-round, no sagging and the all-important mechanism to release the arms is working well – just watch your fingers! Also its smells okay!
