A wonderfully coloured and aged vintage factory chair found in a small Walsall engineering workshop – more items to follow including four cracking tool trolleys.
The stool/chair is very much the real McCoy – we are not one of the “stripped and polished brigade” so the chair retains its history in full, with a host of marks, loss of paint, tarnishing on the seat etc. What you see is what you get with this chap – simple design, great looks, strong stature and comfort. This one possesses an almost bronze glow to the faded and aged paintwork, quite beautiful.
We would say it’s from around 1940/50s and would make a great addition to any home – slot it in where you wish.
