TALL VINTAGE METAL FACTORY PIGEON HOLE SHELVES GOOD CONDITION - SOLD

A recent acquisition, one of a pair from the Humberside factory of Bacon and Co Engineering established 1899. This tall vintage shelving / pigeon hole unit is in about the right condition - well marked, tarnished in the right places and showing its past history but not rotten that you would want to leave outside for the scrap man.
This one still has its original hand painted signage under each hole – clearly the unit was once used for the storage of nuts and bolts in the factory!
In factory “army green” a frequently used colour in workshops of that era. Considering its age and purpose, this unit is large enough to hold a multitude of items whether it be for home or commercial use.
As mentioned, we have an identical one from the same factory a little different in signage but showing similar wear and tear.
The pigeon hole unit has been hand washed, wiped and lightly waxed – yes, it’s ready to go.
