These are a super pair of pine chests presented in wonderful original condition possessing the name Paul Graham and individually numbered on the tops.
We are big fans of these chests which came from a large country home close to the Peak District – they are showing their history and heritage a treat - the odd knock or two, small luggage labels on the sides, historic wear to the edges, double locks by Turner & Co of New Bond St London, with surprisingly clean interiors. Mr Graham must have been a clean and tidy chap!
These are of a substantial, eye catching size with the colour and appearance spot on – they would look splendid sitting in a room together. Never easy to find in this condition and even more difficult as a matching pair.
