A Pair of Stylish 1906s Black English Club / Armchairs

Not seen many with this look – very classy, the right colour and maybe from a Commercial background rather than the home. Sitting on Old Gold coloured Atomic Legs these Black Chairs are spot on for the era.
The pair sit a little lower than some, the arms are long and possess a wonderful curve from back to front and the bottoms edges are bordered with old gold trim to match the four legs and all sitting on a firm well designed frame.
The condition is good, the frame firm, legs strong and apart from a few nibbles on the edges the vinyl is good without splits and tears. We would assume that the seats and backs are replacements but do not look out of place and are very well made.
Made by British, Stonehill Furniture in 1960, this smashing pair are something a little scarcer than most and would not look out of place in a contemporary home, shop or office space.
