A wonderful vintage industrial lamp which has been fully rewired with a new vintage look flex, plugged up and PAT tested to ensure it’s ready to enjoy.
The floor lamp has a laboratory / industrial look about it and would have been used as a possible heat source before we converted it. The white painted cast base sits on four small Kenrick castors and is an attractive mix of polished steel, alloy and white coated metal which we would say is from C1950.
The lamp possesses a spring loaded stem so you can set it at different heights and the main head is wide throwing out good directed light. As mentioned earlier the lamp would have been used in a factory or lab so it’s showing its age and history with the usual wear marks but nothing out of the ordinary. One of the castors sits just off the ground when placed, however this is only a minor detail.
A rare find and a little different from the norm, the perfect partner to a leather armchair!
