So pleasing to find a mid-Victorian music cabinet which is of a good quality nudging its head above the usual throng. We found this one with a few other quality items close to Burton and love its walnut finish which has grand colouring, the rather pretty lock with its key and the curved finish to the corners.
The cabinet is presented in original condition, just mild day to day wear – no alterations or repairs and possesses the ability to just slip into a space whether a home or commercial and without any effort look like it had belonged there for an age. We have lightly cleaned and waxed this versatile piece.
As mentioned this one just looks, smells and feels right - good size, glazed, rich colour, with original key and showing good craftsmanship.
