Attractive Edwardian Bergere Armchair We Have 2
A rather delightful Bergere armchair enhanced with Mulberry Home pure wool plaid Nevis fabric in sienna/mauve colour seat with a feather filled back cushion. The seat and cushion have little or no wear with the chairs having been placed in a rarely used room. We have two which are very similar, slightly different in dimensions - if you wish to purchase one please let us know which one - there is an image showing them numbered 1 and 2.
These sit beautifully with attractive wear to the slender frame with their barely twist front legs and caned sided and back.
Workshop report - the frame is firm with no wobbles or sways having been lightly waxed by us, expect day to day wear and age marks but not tired looking. The seats are comfortable. The cane work is good. Overall, an armchair that's aging well.
An attractive looking couple of chairs C.1910 with the ability to look great in whatever setting you choose.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
