We just love this chair – for starters it’s so easy to sit in and chill and also it’s pretty much been in use most of its life rather than a “display” piece.
This ash and elm Windsor chair is almost two hundred years old and as such is not in mint condition or perfect, having numerous historic repairs along its way in life. However it’s still very usable and rest assured it will probably outlast its new owners!
It possesses a satisfying glow, is pleasingly time worn, very tactile and rich in colour. If you are seeking a chair which oozes charm and character then this is it, if however you are looking for a chair that has been restored to the “highest degree” then best keep looking…
We have had it in our factory loft apartment for a short period of time and it fits in well into a more modern home as well as a period property.

Dimensions - Specifically the Seat: Height 41.5cm x Depth 38cm
