Splendid Little Oak Art Deco 2 Drawer Table Desk C.1930
An impressively designed Art Deco piece likely Gillows or Gomme, we do have a makers design number stamp to the rear and drawers.
We were fortunate to have a similar one a few years ago and we have to say this one is a little better. Its totally Deco - the ball feet, the impressive oak curling bentwood legs, little original chrome stepped handles, flower motifs and the shaped top are all very decorative and the whole piece works tremendously.
Condition is very good - as mentioned the original handles are in place, the little drawers are running well, one has a few ink stains, we have no splits to the bentwood and the desk is sitting firm and solid. We have carefully repolished the piece and ensured it is ready to place. Expect the odd mark or two but nothing nasty.
As the year closes to an end, this piece is likely to be the best of this year in its category at Billy Hunt. British C.1930

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
