1920’s Pullman Rail Car / Steamer Washstand, Bar Conversion - SOLD

Not entirely sure of its origin – it’s either from a Pullman type rail carriage or from a steamship cabin either way someone had the skill and imagination to think lets convert this into something useful for the home!
We have decided to make it into a small bar, loading up its shelves and little cupboards with glasses and alcohol, you could of course use it for whatever you desire. The piece does possesses a very useful drop down shelf that is perfect for serving drinks on!
The piece is in good condition having survived from around the 1920’s with curved finishes to the little cupboards and has an overall good even colour of mahogany. Sometimes these conversions are clumsy and crude however we think that this one’s sole remains intact and has blossomed into a fabulous and unique piece of furniture with a variety of uses…
