Vintage Industrial Lamp from a West Midlands Lock Makers Factory
This vintage industrial lamp saved from a West Midlands lock
makers factory which we are listing here is a little cracker. It’s an early one,
from around 1930/40 and the arms and enamel lamp are in good original
condition. Add the fact that it’s been fully rewired, PAT tested, plugged up
and firmly perched on a heavy steel base by our electric partner Harry means
it’s ready to use out of the box!
The lamp was salvaged along with numerous other items and apart from a decent
clean and a light wax it’s very original. We prefer to gently clean these lamps
rather than strip them or have them blasted back to their raw state, it seems
unfair to take away its history and wear marks. For the record, this one would
have sat on the wall close to a large bank of lock makers drawers which should
hit the site soon!
As mentioned the lamp is ready to go with vintage style wiring and a new
vintage style plug to complete the look.

We include UK mainland delivery in the purchase price and utilise the services of three private couriers companies to deliver larger items. All items including furniture are suitably wrapped and padded in house in addition to our trusted couriers blanket wrapping whilst the piece is in transit. Delivery takes between 4-15 days depending on your location and we will contact you shortly after purchase to put the wheels in motion.
