Pair of 1940s Vintage Oak Chests of Drawers
A pair of early 1940s British chests in the classic utilitarian style; one has 3 drawers and the other two both matching in dimensions. Would work well as bedside chests.
These are simple in looks and design and probably originally part of a bedroom suite with panelled sides, a slight overhang to the tops and rather charming little drop ”baskets of flowers” handles to the drawers - stamps to the backs.
We have ensured the chests are ready to place, cleaned and waxed - both have day to day wear and the odd mark to the tops and a little loss to the veneer but nothing new.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.
For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
