A very attractive pair of 1920s English solid oak glazed bookcases by Maple & Co. We have the metal makers badge to both “By Royal Appointment MAPLE & Co - London Paris Buenos Aires. Registered Design No. 620452”.
Always great to have a matching pair and these are rather wonderful in English oak and of an attractive design and sensible proportions. Each has attractive pairs of oak framed glazed doors - no cracks or breaks, two adjustable solid oak shelves internally and working locks and keys for both cabinets.
They sit well on large bulbous legs and a little decoration at the top of the fronts. We have ensured the pieces are ready to place and have cleaned to enhance the oak’s grain and tone. Expect some day to day marks however both cabinets sit firm with no nasty faults.
A fine and very handsome pair from Maple & Co perfect for a period or modern residence.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
