Something a little different from the Air Ministry; a double desk with a low removable screen splitting the top in half if you so wish.
The desk shape echoes the Art Deco era and we would say it’s from around the 1930s and possibly would have been used in a library or work room by the Air Force. The condition is good for its age – no repairs to the oak, the legs are very firm and, what we would assume, is the original grey top, is free of tears or any doodling! Obviously overall marks and dings are to be expected and forms part of its history.
Nice unusual original desk, not too big, so surely has many uses including mini table tennis!
Dimensions – Overall: Height 75.5cm x Width 114cm x Depth 77cm
Dimensions – Specifically: Height inclusive of central screen/divide 94.5cm
