Very Attractive 2 Drawer Art Deco Desk C1930
A super Art Deco 2 drawer desk C.1930 in rather good, original condition and of lovely quality. Desks of this type, quality and design are few and far between of this era. We would probably say English, around mid thirties.
The desk bears some very good Art Deco features - the stepped drawers, the slender angled front legs, well shaped engineered chrome handles, angular cut veneers, stepped sides and the angled corners all pack into a well proportioned piece, so very attractive.
Condition wise it's good – it sits firm with no repairs, we have gentle aging to all parts, the original rexine top sits well and the drawers are closing and opening as they should. We have carefully cleaned the piece rather than undoing any work. Expect a lovely aged piece, not an over restored desk.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
