Heals Mid Century Walnut Pair of Bedside Tables
A rare pair of Heal’s side tables in walnut, part of a bedroom set which we are so pleased to have found. One owner and purchased directly from Heal’s in the early 1960s.
The design is very good with a firm leaning towards the era made by Heal’s. The walnut is of a pleasing tone with a shimmering cut to the drawers, the super wave pattern to the drawers enhance the tables a treat along with trumpet shaped knobs and working locks and separate keys for each. The slatted rail/shelf to the lower half and the general proportions are all worthy of a mention. It goes without saying the build quality is first rate - solid wood, not veneers and crafted joints are used alongside the best grains.
The pieces have enjoyed a careful and sensible session in our workshop so expect gentle aging and nothing nasty. This pair of tables are part of a bedroom set which are all listed separately. As with some of Heal's bedroom sets, they chose to only add the little Heal’s ivorine stamp to the bed frame, as is the case with this suite.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
