A smaller 1930s oak chest of four drawers with the ability to not only fit in a bedroom but also look perfect in a sitting room or hallway. The four drawers with their rather stylish original chrome ‘Bakelite’ handles sit on pair of elegant cabriole legs giving the chest good height and outline.
The chest has recently enjoyed a re-polish, some of the handle’s black plastic areas have nibbles however the chrome is in very good order and there is a historic veneer repair to the bottom right back of the side which is not particularly noticeable and does not affect its look or usage. The drawers are running okay, be it never as swiftly as a more modern chest.
As mentioned this good looking chest of drawers is a sensible size, a good height and possesses a look which would fit into many areas.
