Late 19th Century Antique Sheraton Style Settee Sofa
We have a rather handsome looking Sheraton style settee, late 19th Century / early 20th Century with a mahogany frame with carved pediment to the back, corner finials and square tapering carved legs finished with age tarnished brass casters – all surviving in fine “sensibly used” order. The slender decorative frame is good with tight joints etc and the springs are tight with new webbing and covering to the base making the seat firm and “non-sagging”.
We are able to offer a full reupholstery service on the sofa which would cost £730 plus the cost of fabric and are happy to offer advice on choice etc if you wish. However the piece is perfectly usable with sensible use to the fabric currently. The braid to the back is missing and overall the piece smells fine.
A fine looking quality piece of English furniture.
