1920s Oak and Copper Plant Stand Good Original Piece in Fine Condition -SOLD

Made by Lister this Oak and Copper Plant Stand is offered in fine original condition surviving from around the 1920s/30s. The stand is constructed in a similar way to a “coopered wood barrel” – strips of oak are held in place, in this case, by hoops of studded copper.
We have left the copper unpolished however a quick 30 minutes with a tin of Brasso would bring it up nicely if you so desire. The shape and form echo the 20/30s and as mentioned earlier the stand is in very good condition and separates from the top, is free of repairs with the oak showing its age well and is crying out for a decent house plant and a snug corner of a room to settle into!
