A Handsome Four Legged Georgian Mahogany Stool

This stool possesses a workman like look – strong, practical with a warming glow and a very appealing stance. The four turned legs which slant just enough to give it style from the top to bottom are well turned showing pleasant age marks with no repairs and sits strong. The Rexine top – a historic replacement for the original, suits the look of the stool and again is worn however perfectly usable, to be honest it would be a shame to change but could be re-upholstered if you wish in say a grade one leather for around £80. To the seat edge the upholstery is finished with attractively worn dimpled studs. There is historic wood worm just underneath the seat base which we have treated as a precaution.
The stool is a sensible height, full of character and would look the business in most locations modern or traditional. It been sitting quite happily in our apartment - a converted factory for a while now…
