Oak School Arts & Crafts Two Drawer Desk
The desk possesses a great form with the overhanging top slightly angled at the corners. The oak is a mellow aged tone with the top worn, with a few marks and lighter. It is heavy for its size and sits firm with no wobbles or sways. The drawers are historically ink stained inside and are running fine. No smells or odours. The maker’s probably - Sydney J Whitehead bearing in mind the desk came from a Leicestershire School. What you see is what you get, a genuine school desk with history and character.
