Good Pair of 1920s Oak Framed Occasional Armchairs
A good looking pair with a hint of Arts & Crafts about them, always good to find them in oak. We would say these are around late 1920s and are rather handsome and a little different from the norm with a good stance, attractive scroll backs and slatted sides. They have the feel of library chairs rather than sitting room chairs.
The chairs are in good condition, no wobbles or sways to the well figured oak frame. The seats have a firmish sprung posture, the green strie velvet is lightly worn with no holes, marks or repairs and the rope edging is intact - all perfectly usable however you could consider new fabric if you wish, do let us know if we can assist in this – our upholsterer will be happy to quote.
A good pair of stylish oak armchairs – perfect for the home or commercial space.

Dimensions - Specifically the Seats: Height 44cm x Width 46-39cm (Front-Rear) x Depth 53cm
