Is it a trolley? Is it a cart? Is it a wheeled cabinet? Whatever you wish to call it, we reckon - Damn Good, best sums it up!
This one was reclaimed from a Welch factory where it, no doubt, bombed around the workshop everyday doing its rounds…But now it’s with us and ready for its next owner.
We have not come across something that looks so great, is of a sensible size and has a wonderful combination of drawer / cupboard / wheels and also the ability to rise and fall with the pulling handle at the back!
The caged cupboard possesses a galvanised shelf and is perfect for bottles and glasses if you wish or folders (if you fancy popping it into the office)? The galvanised drawer with its original riveted handle is good and deep and we have finished the top off, with a layer lightly ribbed black rubber for a change. The wheels are running smoothly and the extra shelf is a bonus. Surely it does not come better than this?
We have cleaned the cart of “factory grime” and given it a light coat of wax to keep it looking sharpish. As mentioned before there is a yellow handle at the rear that gives you the ability to lower and “park” the trolley where you wish, perfect to show off when friends come over. Remember this is an ex-factory piece so expect gritty and used.
We think it’s a cracker, a piece which is home friendly and could end up in any room from the kitchen to the bedroom and everything in-between…
