Oak Arts and Crafts Inspired Library Desk Chair C1910
Found in Lancashire, alongside 2 other matching chairs, this one in a pleasing shade of oak possesses a hint of Arts & Crafts in its form and would fit perfectly well into a period or more modern homes. Well made with the user in mind – comfortable.
Our workshop report – The chair sits in a wonderfully historic order with genuine wear and marks – nothing ugly or nasty. The seat has been fully rewebbed and a lovely soft muted plum coloured leather hide added which looks great and will age up a treat. We have lightly waxed the chair and it's ready to place. We have 2 others the same currently in the workshop.
A lovely aged piece of early twenty century British oak furniture of real character and appeal.
