1930s Vintage Oak Bentwood Armchair
The staple diet of many a British living room since the early 1930s, this armchair possesses a gentle hint of Deco about it with its sweeping oak arms and little front legs. The perfect marriage of comfort and good looking design.
Workshop report - The armchair is sitting firm with no repairs or faults to the frame. The oak bentwood arms are firm with no wobbles and are of a wonderful tone. The apple green velvet fabric is a more recent addition to the chair with piping to the edges. This is rip and repair free with only a few pressure marks which have flattened the fabric - these may lift with use but are not an eyesore. The chair is ready to place - neat, clean and odour free.
A lovely piece of 1930s “front room” furniture.
