Vintage Industrial Trolley From A Yorkshire Factory

A rather marvellous industrial trolley on large wheels which was reclaimed from a steel factory in Yorkshire before the doors closed on business. We assume it was made on site and used to fetch and carry items around the vast space.
It's standing in good vintage condition, we would hazard a guess around 1950s or around that mark as most other pieces in the factory were from a similar era or earlier. It is well made, displaying some pleasing wear and tear without looking over tired and weary like some similar pieces can.
We have a number of pieces which originate from the same factory whose history went back well over a 100 years, always a good feeling to know where the piece came from—gives it a bit of soul!
It’s a bit different from the norm being wooden with four large rubber wheels held to the frame with some good old fashioned black painted iron brackets. The four shelves are sturdy and have a super looking grain and sheen with only a small piece missing from the top, which doesn't affect its look or purpose.
The wheels and frame are very firm with no cracks and the paint work is original. Like all of our factory items we clean down to remove any unnecessary factory grime without stripping any past history— making it house, apartment, garden or shop friendly. It’s up to you to decide a location and function – kitchen, living room, terrace or shop come to mind. I think this is a cracker, big, bold and rather handsome in its own way.
