We love a good pair and these vintage pea green filing cabinets are no exception. The colour, which is original makes a pleasing change to the usual dark green and also gives them a bit of clout. From the late 1960s, 70s, these cabinets are two drawers high and have the bonus of each drawer being sectioned into three – handy for clothes or paperwork!
We also have a narrow, tall, six drawer cabinet of the same style and era which we think would look great sitting in the same room, perhaps a bedroom or living room.
The condition of the cabinets is good with some light flaking of the green paint and the usual scuff marks at the bottoms and tops which we feel gives them some historic identity. The drawers are running smoothly and the steel cast handles are all in place, as they should be. One of the drawers has a small dent which does not affect the usage (but we only feel it right to mention). We have cleaned and lightly polished the cabinets which are study and weighty.
They could look terrific as a pair side tables, pair of bedside tables and would of course fit into an office rather well!
