An Attractive Little Mid Century Teak Desk Table
This one is of smaller proportions and is marked underneath U.K.A.E.A making its past part of Government Issue for the UK Atomic Energy Authority C1960.
It’s a great looking piece – slender tapered legs, which are detachable if required, and support a grained Rexine top with a pleasing teak surround finished with a triple bevelled moulded edge.
Condition wise it’s good – the Rexine top has a few marks but no rips or holes. The teak frame is age marked but nothing nasty and the slender tapered legs are again age marked. We have lightly waxed the piece and ensured it is ready for use. As mentioned the legs do unscrew if space is tight for moving.
A great looking and neat Government Issue Desk.
