Late Victorian Oak and Burr Elm Hexagonal Centre Table
Nudging around 1900, this centre table possesses a rather good looking burr elm top and sides and sits on dense turned oak legs.
We would assume a one-off, this may have sat in a large hallway or in the centre of a room with a few precious possessions or treasures on display. Of a good size and not too ornate and overbearing like some can be...
Workshop report – the table sits firm with no wobbles to the frame. The table top sits as it should straight and firm. We have a few repairs to the top but nothing off putting, and certainly not poorly executed, ugly or particularly noticeable. A cared for table rather than a tired barn find.
A very handsome looking table hexagonal in shape for a change with good home or commercial potential.
Dimensions - Overall: Height 72.5cm x Point to Point 106cm x Flat Side to Side 93cm
