A good mix of painted steel and wood this table/bench was reclaimed from a Welsh factory and is ideal to use in a kitchen or for casual dining in an apartment.
The table was used as a woodworking station and possesses a good vintage look with its painted frame and original wooden top. We have waxed the metal frame and also cleaned the surface of the top giving it a good coating of wax. The table is strong and firm as you would expect bearing in mind its past.
These make great kitchen/bar tables and are also pretty good for sitting a TV onto and fit into living/dining areas a treat.
Of course you have a choice in life – maybe decide to purchase the great looking table which would add a bit more style and individuality to your home or spend an afternoon in Ikea or Homebase sorting out a table, dragging it in and out of the car, spending the evening constructing to find that in 2 weeks the damn thing wobbles and that nearly everyone else in the street has the same table.
