Super Edwardian English Oak Settle of Accommodating Size and Shape

Call it what you may - settle, bench or settee, this piece from the Edwardian period possesses a super shape and form and is a far cry from the sometimes flamboyant and over-elaborate versions from the Victorian age and its oak which is also a great bonus.
It’s the simplistic profile and silhouette that is a big attraction with this oak settle (bench or settee). Whether it’s the modest arms, pleasing arched back or the shadowy reeding on those front legs, you can’t help but love it.
Overall the piece is in good condition - no repairs, no wobbles or cracks in the even oak frame. The fabric is a gold draylon and is in perfectly usable condition but saying that it would look a treat re-upholstered in a heavy tweed. The fabric on the reverse of the piece does have a rip which we have shown in one of the pictures, however it is hardly a big problem.
This great looking piece of furniture would look stylish in most parts of the home – the hallway, the kitchen diner, the conservatory, the drawing room, the lounge, the bedroom, we reckon it would look fab anywhere!
