Vintage 1970s Leather and Brushed Steel Armchair by Roche Bobois No.2
Great looking 1970s armchair by Roche Bobois – something a little different with its camel coloured leather and brushed steel base - not many of these around and a sound investment at the moment.
This armchair sits in vintage order with its angled arms, “on show stitching” and that unusual steel base. A good chair to crash into.
Workshop report – The chair possesses that lived in look so do not expect perfect. The brushed steel base is sitting firm, showing a few marks and the leather has faded to some areas. We have scruffs, rubbing and marks to the leather in all areas and age creasing, but it’s still looking good for its age. We have conditioned the leather so it’s ready to place. Expect vintage used, not new!
A great armchair from a good maker.
