Surviving from around the turn of the century this baronial style chair is in good order. The oak frame is firm with no wobbles, splits or repairs and we have lightly polished the wood to give it a gentle sheen rather than a glowing shine, ensuring that its history is not stripped away. The carved decoration is attractive and also of a good standard. The leather is weary and a little worse for wear however it is perfectly usable and to be honest we would not replace it. Again we have lightly cleaned it to remove any surface dirt.

It’s of a good size (not overbearing) and with its elegant shape and carvings will certainly make quite a statement piece, with its natural talent to uplift a corner or sit rather majestically in a hallway.
